I'm excited to find your blog. I look forward to all the posts by the burts bee blooger :)
Is it my imagination, or does Burt's Beeswax Lip Balm suddenly include peppermint oil when it didn't before?
With a brand new stick I notice a cool menthol-like sensation, and I prefer the honeyed nonmenthol product which was more soothing.

Fantastic idea.
Acouple of years ago I thought I saw a Burts Bees makeup line at a
little co-op. Dont live close to it anymore so was looking online and could not find any makeup at all except lipstuff. Is it still available somewhere? Im just becoming somewhat of a fanatic about what goes into my body and ultimately what goes into our land (we have a little farm). Thanks, Tammy
Wow! I am the first blogger at Burt's Bees and this is my first blog experience ever! Do I get free product just for participating in the experience? I am a fan - both as a dad - products work great on baby butts, and I like the lip balm for myself - really like the natural angle.

YAY! I just wanted to stop by and be the first to say I LOVE YOUR PRODUCTS! Not only have I been a loyal customers for years I now have an infant who uses your products as well. Knowing that his skin will stay soft and healthy and my lips stay soft with your balm helps me feel better about skin products we use.
thank you soooo much for the quality products that you guys make :)
Well, I am pleased to apparently be the first response to the new Burt's Bees blog.
I got here while searching for your Herbal Deodorant which my wife and I love. Please tell me it is still available and has not been discontinued!
We appreciate your commitment to natural, non-animal tested, products. Please keep up the great work!
Hi, I was so disappointed to hear you were discontinuing your concealer! I have heard from many women who feel the same way. I would hope others would way in on this, and hopefully encourage you to bring back your concealer line! It is the only product that works for me! Please consider bringing back your concealer!
Hello!
I just wanted to say that I truly love your products and I am very thankful that I finally have a company I can trust. Just recently Ive learned about parabens and how dangerous they are to your health and I found out that its in all my cosmetics! Its even in one of Bare Escentuals products!
Ok, I'm sixteen years old I cant live without makeup, but at the same time I don't want to get cancer from it ): I already use some of your lip balms and I am about to get your tinted moisturizer.
I was just wondering if you guys are planing on making more cosmetic products in the near future-such as, eyeshadow, mascara, etc. I think alot of women would be very happy if you did! (:
Thanks for reading,
Kacey
Hi burts bee's, i love your products, my suggestion is to make more bar soaps, all of different scents, and natural essences, because right now the selection is scarce. Thanks :)- Burts Bee's Lover
I think that your company is great...there is finally a product you can buy that does what it says at a reasonable price! I particularly like your company's creed regarding the environment and the purity of your products...I have been using Burt's Bees for years...I am disapointed that you do not sell make up any more..it was the best out there...is there any way you will bring it back...PLEASE??? any way, keep up the good work!
Hi Burts Bees: thank you for making healthy body products for everyone. Please stay after congress about our BEES! They are
in real danger right now...from
genetically engineered plants that most of us don't realize we're getting! Biodiversity is really important...and if the bees don't survive...we wont!
Thanks,from a Mom.
It would be great if there was a place where Burts Bees product users, like myself, could talk to other product users about product recommendations, favorites etc.
I had finally found an under eye concealer that didn't bother my eyes and stayed put all day! You can imagine the disappointment when I went back to buy another and find that you no longer produce it. I know you are trying to promote natural beauty from within, but some of us need help and its nice to have natural good quality products to aide in that direction. Please bring the concealer back, P L E E E A S E...
Pauline
Thank you, Burt's Bees, for making such wonderful products. It is extraordinary how great your products work.
I would just like to suggest that you make natural nail polish. My mom won't let me buy nail polish because it turns your nails yellow and blocks your nails from getting oxygen. If it doesn't do this, and is completely made from non-toxic, safe ingredients, I would be very happy. Thank you for reading! : )
Hi Bees and other viewer,
I just started using the burt bee's products. I am really happy with their product.
My daughter six years old, who has eczema. Can i use Burt bee's product to her. Please advice.
Thanks

Just wanted to say that Burts Bees is the best stuff out there! One month ago I was wanting beautiful hands and nails. I started using your hand repair creme after I would wash my hands and what a difference! I have healthy looking hands and beautiful nails because of it! Thank you thank you thank you! I was so amazed with the results that I have been telling everyone about it. Now could you come up with a natural remedy for dry scalp?
Awaiting to see what you come up with! A fan.
LOVE your products--but wish you could have some kind of seminars around this side of the country--like in Michigan......?
Thanks for the products; I will continue to use them!
In the past I have purchased expensive bee products for my face and neck. Then I found Burt's Bees products at one of my local health food stores and am very impressed with the product. I would like to see a make-up line that is all natural so I can do "one stop shopping." I am very concerned about the bee population so Keep on the labs to find out why the bees are disappearing. I am also thinking about starting a small outlet store for all the products. I am still waiting on approval from my township. Thank you for such a wonderful product.
Please ease my worried mind. I read on Forbes.com the other day that Clorox was buying Burt's Bees. I would be very sad if the product changed. Finally I've found products that are healthy for the planet and mankind equally.
A Burt's Bees Fan!
I LOVE Burts Bees!
Thank you for raising awareness about sustainability, natural ingredients in products and the post recycleable materials used to store them. It is important to encourage others to be cautious consumer with not just what we put in our body but what we put on it. Thanks Burts Bees!
Hi , I am a landscape Designer, and was reading your article about the colapse od bee colonies, I found it interesting and just have a question. I have tons of Bees at my house, so many we cant use the backyard. They are living in a wall of a storage unit. Who can I call to take the bees without harming them? remove the hive, and all that? Because my landlord just wants to kill them, because of the hazard issue of bee stings. Please help. thanks if anybody knows can you e-mail me....

I am so ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED and STUNNED that you have discontinued your cosmetics line!! what were you thinking?! I have used burts bees as a chemical free make-up alternative for years and I have to say it was love at first application. I would never have stopped buying it. What are we going to do now? I just don't understand how you guys thought that it would be a good idea to stop making these products. 1 pot of concealer sells for around $30 on e-bay! I'm sure you've been inundated with letters imploring you to start making these cosmetics again and I would like to add one more. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back your make-up line, you've got one woman with 3 daughters who promise to be customers for life.- Sincerely Kristen from NH
Very cool site -- I think I may get a reaction to your products since I'm alergic to bees and honey
Hi there -- good blog. I'm alergic to bees, is that a problem?
Thanks.
I saw a program on PBS last week concerning the sudden disappearance of bees at the hive sites. It seems to be troublesome and not been given the appropriate concern.
I am also very concerned about the bee products we are getting from China, they already have at least one province which bees no longer exist. The people have to pollinate their own Pear trees. I understand that scientist have found a parasite or virus in some of these China products but WE STILL ACCEPT THEM in the US. Makes no sense to me.
Colony Collapse Disorder is a serious issue.
We all need to get the word out there, however we can.
Much like the ways bees pollinate, we humans need to spread the word on preserving the bees.
Add me to your list of UNHAPPY women due to the discontinuation of your make-up line. I have loved the tinted moisturizer for many years and implore you to bring it back.
Sandy
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that there are YouTube videos from The Beemoans' win in the corporate battle of the bands. Check out "I Want Pollination" from my blog at NBC17:

Thanks.
I have been all over my town today trying to locate your Burt's Bees Tinted Moisturizer in Medium. Everywhere I go they tell me that you have stopped making it. There are 3 other shades, Light (white), Dark (very), Deep (even darker), and that's it. What happened to the Medium? I was told in several places that you are not going to make it any longer. Why? Most skin tones fall into the Medium category and you would be selling mostly that color. I loved it and have worn it for 2 years now. Had I known that you were going to pull the product, I would have bought all there was and hoarded it. Why is only that shade off the market, and no replacement shade put in to replace it? An inquiring mind wants to know!!!!

PLEASE bring back the concealer!!
your concealing cream is the best i've ever used, and i miss it very much!
i'm begging you!!!!
So disappointed you are discontinuing the makeup--I am a professional thirty-something woman who has been using your tinted moisturizer for years, I love it and have found nothing to replace it.
Another unhappy woman who can't find my favorite concealer here! I, too, would have bought it FOREVER. It's perfect and I miss it terribly.
Please PLEASE PLEASE bring it back!
I'm so sad that you don't make the concealer that I have stopped buying any of your other products. When it comes back, so will I!!
I am a recent survivor of Breast Cancer (at 41) and use as many Burt's Bee products as possible, my favorite being the concealer. I give credit to your cremes and lotions for giving me back my youthful glow after enduring months of chemotherapy. I would love to see the Burt's Bee company make it more publically known the harm of chemicals/parabens used in most cosmetics. I hope that a more extensive product line comes available, I would love to be the national spokeswomen to promote a pure product and save lives! Donna
I love your products! I am unable to purchase the tinted facial moisturizer in Alaska. I cannot find it anywhere online.
Imagine all the people out there who have never visited your blog (like me, until tonight) who are also trying to figure out WHY OY WHY OH WHY you would discontinue your Medium-tinted moisturizer! I agree with the previous blogger that says she will return to Burt's Bees product when her product returns. I don't want to forego the carrot cremes and the baby apricot oil and the lotions, but I plan to in the hopes that it will help your (wonderful!) company to listen!!! XO
Please bring back the Burt's Bees concealer. It was the best!
I absolutely love your products because I have found them to be truthfully hypoallergenic. I recently hooked a friend onto your eye cream. But sadly, I am so disappointed that you no longer produce the concealer. It was truly the BEST product for dark under eye shadows. PLEASE consider reintroducing this product for your loyal customers (if only online).
As a biochemistry graduate and individual who is pursuing an advanced degree pertaining to cancer research, I understand the importance of eliminating the harsh compounds and preservatives found in makeup, shampoo, lotions etc. I have used Burt's Bees for years and I must say that I love almost every product that I have tried. The product that was the key to my cosmetics arsenal was your concealer. This product was revolutionary in my opinion. This product did not irritate the various types of skin on the face and, what I found remarkable, was that it actually healed blemishes. There are very very few other concealers or makeup products that could stand up to that claim. Not only did this product actually enhance the healing of blemishes but it also covered inconsistencies very well and when mixed with a powder, many aberrations literally vanished. Now I am aware that your products deal a lot with fixing issues from within rather than covering them up. The concealer did do just this, healing, not covering up. Paired with excellent cleanser and clean, non-comedogenic lotion, I am sure that many people with severe acne problems would see a marked improvement. Is that not then keeping with what Burt's Bees mission is? Furthermore, yes, there are other natural makeups out there, Origins has many wonderful products and I have tried and use them. But--these products are expensive, for example, 17 dollars for concealer. My point with this is, if you take away the source of affordable natural makeup from everyday women, what will happen? They will go right back to using Covergirl, Revlon, Rimmel, Mabelline, etc., because it is available and is usually affordable. And these brands are absolutely loaded with carcinogens such as all the many varied parabens (linked to breast cancer and found EVERYWHERE), triethanolamine, propylene glycol, sodium laureth sulfate, etc, not to mention that they can clog pores and cause more skin problems. Maybe the concealer and other products such as the tinted moisturizer did not do as well as what was first hoped, but these products DID make an impact on certain women and these women told others, and I was one of them. Bring the concealer back, or sell the recipe to Origins, so that everyday women can replace a poisonous product with an equal or better one such as aforementioned concealer. Who knows, the Burt's Bees line of makeup could really make a stellar comeback if it was resurrected and with a little advertising. You know, I am pretty sure the past users of the product would help, at the very least by spreading the word, if not through other routes; I know I would.
Please, please, please bring the concealer back! I don't know what to do without Burt's Bees Makeup -- it took me years to find a concealer that worked and didn't reek of chemicals...and now, it's gone! Please?
I see I'm not the only one REALLY missing the cosmetic line of Burts Bees... concealer, tinted moisturizer in medium etc. Please consider bringing them back. The women in my family are asking....where did they go??
I second all the comments here about the concealer and the tinted moisturizer. There are no other affordable make-up products that are hypoallergenic and paraben-free. What were you thinking? Not making enough money? It was bad enough when you discontinued the lipsticks. There has to be a place where producer and consumer can agree on a fair price for these products. Please reconsider.
I will echo all comments about your great makeup products. I am 50 and that is all I have worn for years: tinted moisturizer is terrific! as are the blushes, concealers and lip glosses. Now my 14 year daughter has been wanting some light coverage and moisturizing. We shopped all over (virtual and local stores) to learn you have stopped medium and now I can't even find light. Please bring back these terrific products! My daughter has eczema and this was 1 thing she could wear!
I third or fourth the motion to bring back the concealer!!! I bought it three years ago and love it, use it everyday. Time to replace but I could only find one on the internet for $26.00. I wonder how fresh it is. I am loathe to purchase any other brand. What happened???
BRING BACK THE COSMETICS!!! I am a long time loyal customer. I love your eye pencils and yes, the ever popular concealer which I find irreplaceable. I'm heart broken to find you discontinuing them. Bring back the make up I strongly implore you.
Love and Thanks,
Mary Froemke

I love your products, all of them, but like so many others, I miss your cosmetics, especially the concealer. Please bring them back — they really were the best for my skin.
Thank you!
